Water Rates
Billing
Your bill combines water, sewer, and sanitation (trash, compost, and recycling) on one bill. This reduces operating expenses and helps keep rates lower.

City Water Rates and Fees
Rates for water, sewer and garbage service are set by the City Council and are reviewed at times to ensure that city services are adequately being charged for.
For the most up to date information regarding charges for these services, new tap fees, landfill fees, deposit schedules and other fees associated with water, sewer or garbage collection, please see the fee schedule.

Business, such as hotels, motels, apartment complexes and RV Parks, that are multi-unit will be charged a base rate for each unit up to 80% of the total units at the location for the month.

Businesses that do not have a an occupancy rate of 80% for a month may file with the water department a monthly occupancy form.  The form gives step by step instructions on determining the occupancy for the month.

Forms are due to the water department by end of operating hours on the 10th day of the month or the next business day if a holiday or weekend.  Forms received after this time, will not be accepted.

Completed and returned forms will be used to set the occupancy rate for the next billing cycle.  For example, RV park owner files out the form and turns it in before the 10th of January showing that his occupancy for December was 50%.  When billing is printed and sent on either January 31 (the January bill), that bill will charge the customer at a total of 50% of the total available units for the month.
